We are excited to announce a special fundraising dinner benefiting the Roberto Clemente – Santa Ana Health Clinic, January 16, 2009 in Managua, Nicaragua.
Proceeds from this gala event, featuring local Nicaraguan cuisine, cocktails, and live entertainment, will tremendously help to continue the important aid the Clinic provides for the Tola region of Nicaragua.
Nicaragua’s greatest resource is its wonderful people, and each day Dr. Julio Flores and his team strive to educate the community on better health, prevent diseases, and treat injuries and the chronic health problems that are prevalent in this part of the world.
The clinic treats over 9,000 patients each year – not only locals, but surfers and tourists too – providing 24/7 service to the area, at little or no charge. And as a non-profit organization, the clinic is entirely sustained through donations provided by generous people like you.
We hope you will be able to be a part of this special event, joining local Nicaraguan contributors in our mission to improve and even save the lives of the 1,500 plus residents of the area, and the many people who visit each year. Tickets are just $50 each.
We also invite anyone joining us in Managua this January to accompany us to the Clinic so that you can see first hand how your donations are needed and used, and just how very vital the Roberto Clemente – Santa Ana Health Clinic is.
