Our main objective with this initiative is to teach members of the community how to take advantage of their unused lands to improve their quality of life nutritionally and economically.
We believe that teaching this principle at a young age is vital for future generations. For the second year in a row, we worked with children at nearby public schools in Limón 1, Limón 2 and Virgen Morena, offering workshops and contributing to their education.
Most of these children live in extreme poverty and have tough lives. By offering these workshops, they learn respect, discipline and accountability.
We take great pride in working hand in hand with public schools to prepare our children for a better future.
Our 2018 goal is to create 40 new organic family gardens.
With only $50 per month, you can help us create and sustain a new organic garden for a family in the rural, coastal and lovely Tola province of Nicaragua.
