We come with exciting news! Dr. Shawn Borich recently joined our Clinic family as Chief Executive Officer.
Dr. Shawn has jumped right into his new role with Clinic, bringing outstanding ideas for growth and improvement.
Dr. Jose Mosquera, a board member and previous CEO of the Roberto Clemente Health Clinic, along with our new CEO will be visiting the Clinic team to discuss our 2024-25 vision, meet face-to-face with the team, and get to know our facility.

Shawn Borich, MD, MPH is an executive physician leader with over 23-years of experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Hospitalist Medicine, Occupational Health, Medical Spas and the management and staffing of a diverse portfolio of healthcare companies. He is commonly referred to as a serial entrepreneur, with knowledge of startups, bringing products to market, and staffing – along with scaling and exiting companies. He has extensive experience in conflict resolution and conferring with employees and management to address problems impacting business operations.
He focuses on delivering a high-quality product while streamlining processes and reducing costs. The patient is at the core of everything he does, and he is an expert at improving operating performance within the healthcare setting for patient experience and quality of care. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Medicine and received his Medical Degree from Michigan State University and his master’s in public health from the University of Michigan.
Our Clinic is lucky to have an amazing amount of talent and passion on each team that keeps our Clinic running, and we are excited to have Dr. Shawn join our Nica Family!
