"On April 8th of this year, Christina Ramos (my beautiful wife) was involved in an awful accident on the Pacific Coast of Nicaragua that required immediate medical attention. Suffice to say, the medical facilities one can find in a third world country can oftentimes prove difficult to find, never mind one that can provide sufficient attention to trauma patients. Well, what Christina found was just barely that: "sufficient." What she has walked away with from this experience is a wish to raise a few bucks to help the local facility that helped her. Had The Roberto Clemente Health Clinic NOT been within 20 minutes of where she was vacationing, there is a good chance the end-result may have differed drastically. One month later, Christina and I organized a fundraising event for the clinic. We rose $2,600 to suppor this project. Gracias Nicaclinic"
