Dear Friend of the Clinic,
Last week, our team met with the students enrolled in our University Scholarship program!
This program was designed by the Clinic team, along with the Ezulwini Foundation, to provide financial support and educational resources to students in higher education institutions. As we know, college is an expensive endeavor, and by providing scholarships to 50 students, we allow them to focus on what matters… learning!
We had a great turnout with 47 out of our 50 students joining us for a snack and motivational discussion going into a new semester. Each year, the Clinic signs an agreement with all students on their scholarship terms. And the team is excited to see what they will accomplish this year! In 2024, we are looking forward to a wide variety of university locations and areas of study. We have students enrolled in Managua, Jinotepe, Masaya, and Rivas. And they’re following several degree paths…
- Business Administration
- Marketing and Publicity
- Accounting
- Tourism
- Architecture
- Building Design
- Law
- System Engineering
- Banking and Finance
- Medical Technology
- Clinical Bioanalysis
- Medicine
- Veterinary Medicine
- System Engineering
- Agricultural Engineering
- Education, with a focus in English
- Education, with a focus in Social Science
This program has proved to be a great success in the past, with two 2023 graduates! This year, we have three students completing their university programs, and we cannot wait to celebrate their accomplishments. Please join me as we thank the Ezulwini Foundation for partnering with the Clinic to provide 50 scholarships this year! This program has a huge impact on the future of Nicaragua – and instills confidence in the students we aid on their educational journey.
Sincerely,
